A fire broke out in Manhattan’s Bryant Park Winter Village holiday market on Friday morning, with firefighters quickly responding to contain the blaze. The fire affected a building housing four vendor booths, causing slight damage to an adjacent kiosk and the ice skating rink’s roof. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the city Fire Marshal. The holiday market at Bryant Park is an annual event that features various vendors, an ice skating rink, and a food hall. Most of the holiday shops that were not affected by the fire reopened later that day, according to the Bryant Park Corporation. Just over a week prior, another holiday market in Herald Square also experienced a fire that destroyed several booths. Bryant Park is a popular destination in Manhattan, known for hosting various events and housing the main branch of the New York Public Library. Despite the fire, the holiday market at Bryant Park is expected to continue as scheduled.
