Man arrested in NYC after appearing in viral video from troubled Edge of Lowry complex


A man wanted for first-degree burglary and menacing with a firearm in connection with a viral video captured at the troubled Edge of Lowry apartment complex in Aurora has been arrested in New York City. Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, 26, was apprehended by DEA and HSI officers in the Bronx. The video showed six men, including one armed with a rifle, entering an apartment shortly before a fatal shooting occurred. The victim, Oswaldo Jose Dabion Araujo, later died from his injuries. Zambrano-Pacheco was first identified along with two others, Naudi Lopez-Fernandez and Niefred Jose Serpa-Acosta, in the video. Two additional suspects, Denyeer Aramillo-Meneses and Edilson Pena-Angulo, were also arrested in New York and confirmed to be members of a criminal organization. Serpa-Acosta has been charged in connection with a separate home invasion and kidnapping incident. One suspect, Adan Jose Ramirez-Sanchez, remains at large. The Aurora Police Department expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in apprehending Zambrano-Pacheco and ensuring the safety of the community.
