Allagash has taken on the role of caring for all three pups, including one from her sister, Rogue, who did not accept her own offspring.
Zoo staff are closely monitoring the lemurs, ensuring the well-being of both the pups and the adult lemurs. Allagash has been described as a great mom, serving as a jungle gym for the active babies as they nurse and cling to her. As the pups grow, they will start exploring their surroundings and interacting with other lemurs and staff members.
The gender of the pups has not been identified, and there are no immediate plans to name them. The zoo continues to provide updates on the progress of the lemurs and their interactions.
