The Aurora Police Department recently announced the arrest of two suspects, Gregory Thomas Daniels and Ralph Edward Bledsoe, as a result of a multi-agency online child predator operation. Bledsoe, a 68-year-old airline pilot, was arrested after attempting to meet a minor for sex at an Aurora hotel. Investigators discovered that Bledsoe may have had previous sexual relationships with minors across the country, raising concerns about potential additional victims. Daniels, a 39-year-old, was arrested for a similar offense after traveling to Aurora to have sex with a minor. Both suspects face charges related to internet luring and attempted sex assault of a child. Lt. Seth Robertson of the Special Victims Section expressed concerns about the possibility of more victims being involved, given Bledsoe’s occupation and history. Chief Mark Hildebrand condemned the crimes, calling them a representation of evil. The Aurora Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit successfully completed the operation, emphasizing their commitment to protecting children in the community. The arrests serve as a reminder of the importance of vigilance in preventing and addressing crimes against minors. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information to come forward.
