ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. released his latest NFL mock draft, predicting that the Denver Broncos will select Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the No. 20 pick. Kiper notes that the Broncos may have been looking to add a running back, but with the top prospects off the board, they instead focus on bolstering their wide receiver corps around quarterback Bo Nix.
McMillan, a 6-foot-5, 212-pound receiver, is praised for his sure hands and ability to make tough catches. He amassed over 1,300 receiving yards and eight touchdowns for Arizona last season. Kiper ranks him as the No. 19 overall prospect and the second-best receiver in the draft behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter.
In Kiper’s mock draft, Hunter is projected to go No. 4 to the Patriots, while Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is predicted to be selected by the Giants at No. 3. The Broncos’ decision to add McMillan would pair him with Courtland Sutton and tight end Evan Engram, creating a formidable receiving corps that could pose challenges for opposing defenses.
