Volunteer at Food Bank of the Rockies and make a difference

Denver7 Gives is a program focused on making a difference in the community by connecting with powerful stories and providing financial support to neighbors in need. Now, Denver7 is taking a step further by incorporating volunteering as a core part of the initiative. The first-ever Denver7 Gives Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, where volunteers will team up with Food Bank of the Rockies to make a real impact together. Chief Meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo and Traffic Anchor Jayson Luber will be leading the volunteer efforts to inspect, clean, sort, and repack food items for distribution to Hunger Relief Partners.

Volunteers must be at least 10 years old and accompanied by an adult or 16 years old to volunteer independently. There are limited spots available, and those who reach the limit will be put on a waiting list. Registration with both Denver7 and Food Bank of the Rockies is mandatory to participate in the event. Volunteers will receive a Denver7 volunteer t-shirt for their efforts. The article encourages interested individuals to sign up for Denver7 Gives Day by completing a registration form available on the Denver7 website.

This press article emphasizes the importance of community involvement and highlights the opportunity for individuals to not just watch and donate but to actively participate in making a tangible difference in the community. It promotes the inaugural Denver7 Gives Day as a chance for individuals to come together and volunteer alongside TV personalities to support a worthy cause.
