Multiple people have been displaced after a structure fire in Aurora early Friday morning. Aurora Fire Rescue first reported the fire on social media around 12:39 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find a detached garage engulfed in flames, which they were able to quickly bring under control. No injuries were reported from the fire.
One adult was living in the garage and six adults were living in an adjacent home at the time of the fire, all of whom have been displaced along with three cats. The American Red Cross is providing assistance to those affected. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
