WorldDenver will host a celebration for International Women’s Day on March 7, 2025, at Infinity Park Events Center in Glendale. The event will feature an expert community panel on Women Leaders in STEM, moderated by CBS Colorado’s Michelle Griego. Keynote speaker Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina astronaut in space and a 2024 Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient, will speak at the luncheon. Honorees include Girls with Books, a Boulder-based organization empowering South Sudanese girls through education, and Maria Garcia Berry, founder of CRL Associates. The event will also include a networking hour and luncheon. Event co-chairs Maria Gonzales and Patrice Henning spoke about the event with CBS Colorado’s Mekialaya White.
