Musk’s aggressive approach to reducing the size and spending of the federal government has faced challenges, with some workers laid off and later reinstated due to the importance of their work. Labor groups are looking to block the email demand for workers to submit job accomplishments, arguing that the confusion caused by the email is disruptive to essential government functions.
