Colorado Governor directs flags to be lowered to half-staff in memory of former Rep. Rod Bockenfeld

Former Colorado State Representative Rod Bockenfeld, who passed away from cancer on February 13 at the age of 69, was honored by Governor Jared Polis with an order to fly flags at half-staff. Bockenfeld, a Watkins Republican, served as a representative for House District 56 from 2018 to last year. Governor Polis praised Bockenfeld’s dedication to his district and legislative work, particularly during his time at the Joint Budget Committee. A Catholic Mass was held in Aurora in his memory. The community mourns the loss of a beloved public servant.
