Three individuals, Trent Umberger, Nathan Jones, and Kathi Ann Wallace, were tragically killed in a crash near Palisade, according to the Colorado State Patrol and the Mesa County Coroner’s Office. The incident involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by an unidentified individual who struck two CDOT employees who were performing maintenance operations on the highway. Both CDOT workers and the driver’s spouse, Wallace, died at the scene.
