Denver’s Weekend Events: Excitement Awaits
This weekend in Denver promises a wealth of entertainment options for locals and visitors alike. Kicking off the festivities is the 79th Annual Steer event at The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. General admission is free, with VIP tickets available for $187.10.
Music lovers can catch a variety of performances tonight, including Clay K at Larimer Lounge at 6 p.m. ($18.50-$23.50) and Ship Wrek featuring No Thanks, Kandy Shop, Murra, and Phatjazz at Ogden Theatre at 8 p.m. ($30.06-$79.23). Fans of cover bands can enjoy Amnesiacs, a Radiohead tribute, alongside Rally ‘Round The Family, a Rage Against the Machine tribute, at Cervantes’ Other Side, also at 8 p.m. ($23.78).
For comedy enthusiasts, Jim Jefferies will take the stage at the Paramount Theatre tonight at 7 p.m., with tickets starting at $58. Ian Bagg is performing multiple shows at Comedy Works South this weekend, including two slots today at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. ($30-$40).
Additionally, Billy Strings will perform at Ball Arena on both Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m., with ticket prices starting at $61. For art lovers, Edge Gallery is showcasing works by Nolan Tredway, Heather Hauptman, Jennifer Pettus, and Harita Patel through Sunday, while "Horizon: On the Plains with John Fielder" will run at the History Colorado Center until January 1.
