Robert De Niro Holds Special Connection to New Nobu Hotel in the Caribbean

Renowned actor Robert De Niro is expanding his hospitality empire with the upcoming opening of the Nobu Beach Inn in Barbuda, the latest addition to his Nobu Hospitality portfolio. The high-end resort, scheduled to open at the end of the year, will offer luxurious accommodations starting at $2,500 a night.

De Niro’s journey into the hospitality industry began with the opening of the Tribeca Grill in Manhattan in 1990, followed by a partnership with renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa to open the first Nobu restaurant in Manhattan in 1994. The success of the Nobu brand has led to the development of 42 hotels, 12 residential projects, and 56 restaurants worldwide, with the Nobu Beach Inn being the only hotel in which De Niro has a direct ownership stake.

Located on the picturesque Princess Diana Beach in Barbuda, the resort aims to provide upscale yet intimate accommodations for guests seeking privacy and exclusivity. The resort will feature 36 bedrooms in 17 guest bungalows, as well as 25 beachfront villas available for private ownership or rental.

Despite his acting career, De Niro is deeply involved in the development of the resort, ensuring that it respects Barbuda’s ecosystem and is fortified against hurricanes. The hotel will offer personalized service to each guest, with dedicated staff overseeing every detail of their stay to create tailored experiences.

With construction underway and villas soon to be on the market for $12 million or more, the Nobu Beach Inn promises to be a luxurious and exclusive retreat for high-end travelers seeking privacy and comfort in a tropical paradise. De Niro, along with his partners, envisions the resort as a cozy and inviting home away from home for all its guests.
