Today’s Weather Forecast for Denver: What to Expect

Metro Denver Weather Forecast: Mild and Breezy Conditions Ahead

Metro Denver is set to experience partly sunny skies on Tuesday, with a predicted high temperature of around 53 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, residents can expect mild weather with a slight breeze, as southward winds are anticipated to shift to the north by afternoon, gusting up to 24 mph.

In contrast to the relatively calm weather in the city, the mountains surrounding Denver are forecast to see periods of snow and blowing snow, particularly north of I-70. This inclement weather may result in challenging travel conditions across the mountain passes, with snow expected to taper off by evening. Higher elevations will be particularly windy, experiencing gusts that could reach up to 60 mph.

As the day transitions into night, conditions in Denver are expected to become mostly clear. The evening will see temperatures drop to around 25 degrees, with gentle north winds shifting to south after midnight.

Looking ahead, the four-day forecast offers a glimpse of consistent mildness. Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 56 degrees, followed by Thursday, which will see similar conditions and a slight rise in temperatures to 58. By Friday, the temperatures will climb even further to a pleasant high of 61 degrees, maintaining sunny weather into the weekend with Saturday’s forecasted high also around 60 degrees.

Whether in the city or the surrounding mountains, residents should stay informed on weather changes that could impact travel—especially in elevated areas—while enjoying the bright and clear days ahead.
