Coach Prime discredits claim about Shedeur’s playing location

Speculation is swirling about where CU Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders will be drafted next spring in the NFL, with rumors floating around that he may not want to play for certain teams. Last March, his father, Coach Prime, hinted that Shedeur might follow in Eli Manning’s footsteps in refusing to play for certain cities. However, a recent report on social media claiming Shedeur would refuse to play for the Giants or Browns was shot down by Deion Sanders.

Coach Prime took to Twitter to debunk the rumor, stating “A Lie don’t care who tells it. Please stop trying to become relevant by misrepresenting my son. God bless you.” Currently, the Las Vegas Raiders are projected to have the first overall pick, potentially making the issue irrelevant if Shedeur is selected by them.

However, the Giants are currently projected to pick second, with the Patriots, Panthers, and Jaguars also in the top 5. The draft order is likely to change before the draft, making it a story worth following over the next few months. Deion Sanders’ mixed messages on where Shedeur can and can’t play add an additional layer of intrigue to the situation. For now, the Giants and Browns remain options for Shedeur’s potential landing spot in the NFL.
