Upcoming Denver Area Events This Week: Festive Fun for All Ages
Denver, CO – The holiday season is in full swing, and residents are invited to enjoy a variety of festive activities taking place across the Denver area this Sunday and into the coming weeks.
The Toys for Tots Toy Drive continues today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Big Apple Bodega, located at 2231 S. Broadway. Donated toys will help brighten the holidays for children in need.
For music lovers, the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies will perform their Christmas Canteen at The PACE Center, Parker at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $59, available at parkerarts.org. Comedy fans can enjoy performances by Kevin Fitzgerald at Comedy Works Downtown at 7 p.m. and Ben Roy at Comedy Works South at the same time, with tickets at $14.
Families can explore Downtown Parker Holiday Activities this afternoon, including Gingerbread Lane and Santa’s Workshop, running noon-4 p.m. until December 15. Taking a photo with Buddy the Elf for a chance to win prizes adds to the fun.
Further holiday cheer can be found at the Mistletoe Market at Dairy Block, open noon-5 p.m. through December 22, showcasing local vendors and themed cocktails.
Upcoming holiday events include Vintage Christmas with Santa at Pick Attic Cat (1-3 p.m.) and festive Horse-drawn Carriage Rides at Orchard Town Center (2-5 p.m.) both running on Sundays through December 15. On Sundays until December 22, families can also join Breakfast with Santa at Cherokee Ranch & Castle and visit Santa & Mrs. Claus at Union Station from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
