Drive-Through Holiday Lights Experience Coming to Red Rocks Park
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is set to host its first-ever drive-through holiday lights display, "Christmas in Color," starting this Friday. Known for its captivating light shows in various Denver metro locations, this year’s event promises to be a unique winter holiday experience at the iconic venue, located at 18300 West Alameda Parkway in Morrison.
The display boasts over 1 million dazzling lights that are carefully synchronized to festive holiday music, which can be enjoyed by tuning car radios to a designated frequency. According to Denver Arts & Venues, this immersive experience is unlike anything previously seen at Red Rocks.
Families and friends are invited to experience the magic throughout most of December. Reservations can be easily made online at christmasincolor.net, with ticket prices starting at $34 per vehicle. Additionally, special party packs are available for an extra cost, which include fun add-ons like light wands and 3D glasses to enhance the festive atmosphere.
"Christmas in Color" will also have displays at Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora and Water World in Federal Heights, offering plenty of opportunities for holiday celebrations across the region.
