Denver Weather Forecast: Sunny Days Ahead with Warm Temperatures

Denver, CO – Residents of Denver and the surrounding metro area can look forward to a warm-up as temperatures are set to climb back into the low 50s on Wednesday. According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder, sunny skies with a high near 51 degrees are expected, accompanied by light south winds at around 6 mph, which will become variable in the afternoon.

Windy conditions will persist across the Front Range mountains, with strong gusts predicted throughout the morning. The NWS reports that the strongest winds could reach 60 to 70 mph above the Peak to Peak Highway, while foothill areas may experience gusts between 40 and 50 mph. As the day progresses, these winds are expected to decrease.

As evening approaches, temperatures will drop to a low of around 31 degrees under partly cloudy skies, with south-southwest winds continuing at about 6 mph.

Looking ahead, the forecast for the remainder of the week trends warmer, with temperatures projected to rise into the 60s and approach 70 degrees by Saturday. Specifically, the four-day forecast includes:

  • Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 60 degrees.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny with a high reaching approximately 64 degrees.
  • Saturday: Partly sunny, high near 67 degrees.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, high around 57 degrees.
