With the general election just five days away, the race for the White House between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris is extremely close. A Tuesday Reuters/Ipsos poll showed Harris leading with 44% to Trump’s 43% among registered voters nationally, within the margin of error. Both candidates are focusing on Arizona, a key battleground state that Biden won by a slim margin in the previous election.
Harris will host a rally in Phoenix with music guest Los Tigres del Norte, while Trump and Tucker Carlson will host a “hurricane relief benefit” in Glendale. Harris will then travel to Las Vegas to reach out to undecided Latino voters with Jennifer Lopez and Maná. Lopez, alongside other high-profile Latinos, has endorsed Harris following a joke made at a Trump rally about Puerto Rico.
Governor Walz will campaign in Pennsylvania and Michigan, while both Harris and Trump will hold rallies in Milwaukee on Friday. Harris will then head to Atlanta for a final rally before moving on to North Carolina on the last day of early voting. The final days leading up to the election are crucial for both candidates, as they try to secure the necessary support to win the closely contested race.
