Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing two new lawsuits, one accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in 2005 and the other alleging he assaulted a 17-year-old in 2008. The lawsuits were filed by accusers represented by lawyer Anthony Buzbee, who has brought forward similar claims against Combs in the past. Combs’s legal team denied the accusations, stating they have confidence in the facts and the judicial process.
Combs, 54, is currently jailed in New York City after pleading not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges. The charges include allegations of coercing and abusing women and using blackmail and violence to silence victims. The new lawsuits add to a wave of accusations against Combs over the last two decades, claiming sexual assault at parties and meetings.
The first lawsuit alleges that Combs assaulted a 10-year-old aspiring actor and rapper during an audition in a New York City hotel room, threatening harm to the child’s parents if he told anyone. The second lawsuit involves a 17-year-old who claims he was forced into sexual acts during a three-day audition for the reality show Making the Band, produced by Combs.
Both lawsuits were filed under New York City’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, allowing survivors to bring legal action even if the statute of limitations has passed. The truth will be determined in court, as Combs continues to face legal challenges related to these serious allegations of sexual assault.
