A tragic fiery crash in Thornton over the weekend has left four people dead and one person seriously injured. The crash occurred at Thornton Parkway and Washington Street on Saturday night, resulting in one vehicle catching fire and claiming the lives of four individuals. As of now, the victims have not been identified by the authorities pending family notification and autopsies.
While details of the crash remain unclear, a GoFundMe page has been set up to support the surviving family members. The fundraiser, created by a family member, aims to raise $30,000 to help the two remaining children who have lost their parents and siblings in the tragic accident. So far, the page has already raised nearly $25,000 in just over a day.
Both the Thornton Police Department and Adams County Coroner’s Office are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not confirmed the identities of the victims. The community has come together to support the surviving family members during this difficult time as they navigate a world that has been forever changed by the heartbreaking loss of their loved ones.
