Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are both returning to battleground states this weekend to campaign and “Get Out the Vote” ahead of Election Day on Nov. 5. Polls show a close race in key states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina.
On Saturday, Michelle Obama and the Democratic presidential candidate will rally in Kalamazoo, Michigan, marking the first day of early voting in the state. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Harris’ running mate, will also campaign in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and Phoenix. Harris is scheduled to travel to Philadelphia and Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Sunday and Monday with a rally on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., planned for Tuesday.
The campaign expects a large turnout at the National Mall event, with nearly 8,000 people anticipated based on a permit application filed with the National Park Service.
