Dry and clear conditions ahead in the Colorado 7-day forecast

Denver residents are in for a treat as they can expect a beautiful start to their day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 40s for their morning commute. The warmer than average weather will continue throughout the weekend and into early next week, providing clearer driving conditions as well.

According to meteorologist Lisa Hidalgo, Denver can expect 70s and mostly sunny skies through Thursday, which is about 10 to 15 degrees above normal for mid-October. A weak cold front will bring temperatures down into the 60s on Friday, but it will still be above normal for this time of year. Despite the front, skies are expected to stay clear.

Gustier conditions can be expected on Thursday ahead of the front, with winds kicking up in the plains and mountains in the afternoon. However, sunshine will prevail statewide through the weekend, with temperatures climbing back into the 70s and even reaching near 80 degrees on Sunday.

Denver residents can keep up with the latest weather updates by following the Denver7 live weather stream and accessing weather links for hourly forecasts, radars, traffic, and more. With sunny skies and mild temperatures on the horizon, it looks like a picture-perfect weekend for those in the Denver area.
