Anthony Quesen, 25, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide for the fatal stabbing of Benjamin Brallier, 44, along the Montour Trail in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Brallier, a Liquor Control Enforcement Agent with the Pennsylvania State Police, was found with multiple stab wounds and later died in the hospital. Police discovered signs of a struggle at the scene and arrested Quesen, who was found near the crime scene with cuts to his hands and blood stains on his clothing.
The motive for the attack remains unclear, and police have not provided additional information on the investigation. The Montour Trail is a popular recreational pathway used by more than 400,000 people annually and is part of U.S. Bicycle Route 50. The trail extends from Coraopolis to Clairton, with over 25 access areas and trailheads.
The Montour Trail Council, which owns and maintains the pathway, has not commented on the incident. The Pennsylvania State Police and Allegheny County police are continuing their investigation into the deadly stabbing.
