The family, led by husband and wife Dave and Brittani Allen, have been operating their haunted house for almost five years and are now in their third year in their hometown of Englewood.
The indoor walkthrough attraction tells a story of sacrifice and dark journey, with unique props and characters. The family, along with local scare actors and staff, have created a daunting storytelling experience that takes participants on a 15-20 minute journey through dark, mysterious hallways filled with monsters and ghouls. The house features homemade and recycled props, adding to the authenticity of the experience.
Dave Allen expressed his joy in building something to share with people and seeing the excitement on their faces as they exit the haunted house. Brittani Allen shared that scaring people has become a part of their family’s identity, with their children and close family members all actively involved in the operation of the haunted house.
Looking towards the future, Dave Allen mentioned plans to expand their offerings to year-round attractions, including escape rooms and in-house haunt events. The Ritual haunted house is open every night until November 2nd, with general admission tickets priced at $25 and VIP less-wait tickets at $40.
