Maryland Democratic Senate Candidate Angela Alsobrooks campaigned in Princess Anne, Md. on Oct. 2, 2024. She is running against former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan in a race that could determine control of the U.S. Senate. Alsobrooks also spoke with students and reporters while campaigning, as well as posed for photos with supporters. She previously delivered remarks at various campaign events, including at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Captain Larry’s Bar and Grill in Baltimore. Alsobrooks also spoke at the Democratic National Convention and other events alongside Vice President Kamala Harris. Supporters have attended her campaign events, including the Tour to Save Democracy’s national bus tour event outside Harry Grove Stadium in Frederick. Alsobrooks has been active in addressing various issues during her campaign, including reproductive rights and gun violence awareness. She has received support from prominent figures such as Gov. Wes Moore and Vice President Harris. Alsobrooks’ campaign focuses on engaging with voters, particularly students and young people, to mobilize support for her bid for the U.S. Senate seat.
