Furthermore, Pence previously declared that he would not be endorsing former President Donald Trump. The false claim was widely circulated on Facebook and X, formerly Twitter, and the fact-check team at USA TODAY has debunked it. Snopes has also debunked the claim. Despite reaching out to several social media users who shared the clip, there have been no responses.
