Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris recently held a rally in Greenville, North Carolina, where she targeted rival Donald Trump for spreading misinformation about hurricanes Helene and Milton. Harris accused Trump of creating fear and scaring people instead of working on solutions to real problems. She criticized his response to natural disasters and highlighted General Milley’s statement that Trump was the most dangerous president the country has ever seen.
Meanwhile, at a rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona, Trump pledged to ask Congress to raise the wages of border patrol agents if re-elected. He also expressed his support for Republican candidate Kari Lake in the Arizona Senate race and attacked the mayor of Aurora, Colorado, calling him a “radical left Democrat.” Trump bragged about his endorsements from prominent figures and displayed a chart showing a decline in people entering the US through the southern border during his presidency.
During the same event, Trump used derogatory language towards immigrants and criticized Democratic vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris, accusing her of using taxpayer money to relocate illegal aliens. His former advisor, Stephen Miller, also made anti-immigrant remarks and condemned the Biden administration’s border policies.
On the other hand, Republican vice-presidential pick JD Vance attended Nascar’s Bank of America Roval 400 with his family in Concord, North Carolina, without delivering any remarks. The events show the intense political campaigning and rhetoric leading up to the upcoming elections.
