Sergeant Spence Cannon of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office stated that it is unlikely that any occupants of the plane survived, as the plane is currently submerged under eight and a half feet of water. Divers and a private barge are attempting to retrieve the plane from the lake, but some debris has already been recovered.
