Aurora Police Department recently announced the arrest of Roiberth Daniel Mora-Marquez, a documented Tren de Aragua gang member wanted on multiple charges. Mora-Marquez was apprehended by the Gang Intervention Unit following an incident involving a dispute over unpaid rent. The charges against him include aggravated first-degree assault, second-degree kidnapping, third-degree assault, and felony menacing. He was also wanted in connection with a nonfatal shooting that occurred in June.
Mora-Marquez had previously been arrested and posted bail but failed to appear in court, leading to a warrant for his arrest. He remains in custody at the Aurora Detention Center on a no-bond hold. The Aurora Police Department is actively investigating these incidents and urges anyone with information to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.
This arrest is part of an ongoing effort by the Aurora Police Department to target gang members involved in criminal activity. Mora-Marquez is one of several documented Tren de Aragua gang members who have been targeted by law enforcement. The department previously released information on Mora-Marquez and nine others.
The Aurora Police Department is committed to keeping the community safe and will continue to work diligently to address gang-related crime. Tipsters can report information anonymously to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
