Good news for Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets fans as Altitude TV, in partnership with 9NEWS and My20, will be broadcasting 20 Avs games and 20 Nuggets games for free over-the-air. This is in addition to the national TV schedules for both teams. Altitude is also launching a new app called Altitude+ for $19.95 per month, offering a direct-to-consumer streaming service. The app will be available for download on iOS and Android devices.
The 20 Avalanche and Nuggets games can be watched on 9NEWS or My20, with 10 games for each team on each network. KSE Vice Chairman Josh Kroenke expressed excitement for the comprehensive solution to watch all Nuggets and Avs games this season. Altitude TV has not been available on Comcast/Xfinity since 2019, but this new partnership provides fans with extra games to watch.
Fans who subscribe to DIRECTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Fubo, and Spectrum TV will continue to have access to Altitude TV and the Altitude+ app. TEGNA’s SVP Mark Cornetta spoke about the partnership, highlighting the increased demand from fans for free over-the-air broadcasts of the games. Overall, this announcement is a positive development for fans of the Avalanche and Nuggets, with more opportunities to watch their favorite teams play.
