Former New Orleans Saints linebacker, Kwon Alexander, has signed with the Denver Broncos practice squad, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The 30-year-old veteran played two seasons with the Saints before joining the Steelers last season, where he suffered an Achilles tendon injury. Alexander, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 227 pounds, has had a decorated career, earning a Pro Bowl appearance in 2017 while with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Throughout his career, Alexander has accumulated 631 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 12 forced fumbles, and 9 interceptions. Despite facing injuries in the past, he has been a consistent starter for most of his time in the league.
After spending the 2021 season with the New York Jets, Alexander is set to join the Broncos and is expected to start practicing with the team at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
