Alternative rock band Jane’s Addiction has canceled its latest tour following an on-stage fight between lead singer Perry Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro. The band announced the cancelation on social media, stating that they have made the difficult decision to take some time away as a group. The tour included a show in Colorado, which has been canceled, with refunds being offered for those who purchased tickets.
Videos captured Farrell lunging at Navarro during a concert in Boston, leading to a scuffle on stage before Farrell was eventually dragged away. The band apologized for the incident, with Farrell’s wife later revealing that his frustration with the loud stage volume had been building up night after night, causing him to feel drowned out by the band.
The “Imminent Redemption” tour, which featured opening act Love and Rockets, was set to end in October in Los Angeles. This tour marked the first time since 2010 that the original Jane’s Addiction lineup played an extended run of shows together, with hits such as “Jane Says” and “Been Caught Stealing” from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Fans are disappointed by the cancelation of the tour and are eager to see if the band will reschedule in the future. The band members are taking the necessary time to address their issues and hope to come back stronger than ever.
