Casa Bonita’s early access tickets are sold out as the restaurant opens reservations to the public

Tens of thousands of eager fans of Casa Bonita, the iconic Colorado restaurant known for its unique atmosphere and entertainment, faced long waits in a virtual queue on Monday as reservation slots opened up to the general public. Previously, the restaurant used a lottery system to allocate reservations, but now they have switched to a first-come, first-served system on their website.

Priority reservations were given to Founders Club members, those who subscribed to the restaurant’s newsletter within the last year, before the slots opened up to the public. Despite the high demand, many hopeful diners were left disappointed as reservations quickly sold out.

Owned by “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Casa Bonita has faced criticism for their handling of the soft reopening in June 2023, with some employees describing it as a “masterclass in how not to open a restaurant.” The duo purchased the restaurant in 2021 to save it from permanent closure due to the pandemic.

Anyone looking to secure a reservation at Casa Bonita can visit their website and book a slot starting at 3 p.m., with dates available from October 1 to November. While reservations are free, a cancellation fee may apply if canceled within 24 hours of the dining date. Good luck to all those hoping to experience the magic of Casa Bonita!
