Olympic pommel horse medalist Stephen Nedoroscik is set to compete in the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” making history as the first male gymnast to do so. After winning two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Nedoroscik became a viral sensation for his unique pre-routine antics, which included a calm and almost sleepy demeanor. He plans to bring some of his gymnastics skills to the dance floor, including backflips and handstands, as well as incorporating his signature glasses into his performances. Despite being the first male gymnast on the show, Nedoroscik follows in the footsteps of other Olympians and gymnasts who have competed on “Dancing With the Stars” in the past, with both successes and near wins. The full cast for the upcoming season will be announced at a later date, with familiar faces such as Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, as well as judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough returning for the 33rd season. Fans can expect Nedoroscik to bring his trademark blend of athleticism, humor, and charm to the dance floor when the season premieres on ABC and Disney+ on Sept. 17.
