New York father discovers tragic crash claimed the lives of his teenage daughters through ‘Find My’ app

A father discovered that his two teenage daughters were killed in a car accident in upstate New York by tracking their phone’s location. Hailey Trumble, 19, and Shelby Trumble, 17, died in the crash, which occurred just 3 miles from their home in Granby. The sisters were coming back from an amusement park when Hailey, who was driving, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. The father, Brian Trumble, realized something was wrong when his daughters did not respond to his calls and texts, prompting him to use the ‘Find My’ app to track their phones. He arrived at the crash site only to receive the devastating news. The family described the girls as simple country girls who enjoyed animals, crafts, and spending time outdoors. Shelby had recently graduated high school while Hailey was about to start a new job. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover the funeral expenses for the family as they cope with this tragic loss. The community has come together to support the Trumble family during this difficult time, with a funeral service scheduled for Saturday.
